Looks great so far. Did they hit groundwater when they were doing the initial dig? Looks pretty dry to me.

Awesome! Love the skimmer covers! I'm originally from the NOLA area and love seeing NOLA stuff.... reminds me of the good ol' days. Does your friend make/sell other covers like that? If so, please pm me, I'd love the details.

She is in Abita Springs LA and makes all sorts of New Orleans themed crafts.
The skimmer covers that I have measure 11.5" in diameter. My deck was made to fit these. You may have to do some retrofitting to install as most skimmer covers are 10" in diameter.
