New Pool Build in Frisco/Mckinney

Hi yall! I've enjoyed reading everyone's pool build updates during this process, so I will share mine. We broke ground last weekend.

32x18' freeform, 3.6'-6' depth, Oklahoma stone coping with 34' moss rock coping and 8' weeping wall, 14' sofa, Blue granite pebble sheen, with Noble Pacifico tile.

Looks like your pool is gonna eat up most of your back yard. I'm looking forward to less mowing anyways.

Less mowing is a great thing! Says the person who mowed her house part. It is only 2.5 acres. The pasture will be next week that is 4 acres! Of course I have to mow by the pool. I just jump off and jump in the pool to cool off!

Yep, not much yard left. We will have a perimeter of grass, and the two runs on the side of the house. I better get a discount on my lawn service!

If I could have afforded more decking then I would have got rid of more grass, but money talks. I might leave just enough to weedeat.

A neighbor took out all the grass and laid fence to fence flagstone, which looks nice. It would have looked harsh with concrete decking. Our grass is for the dog, then again, so is about 30% of the pool.

What kind of finish are you doing? When is plaster?

Turn on the sprinkler and let it do the watering for you! Hey you can even put a lounge chair in it and pretend it is a done pool!

Since a few have asked, I'll post here! The final price on the build is $33,000.

Who is your builder? We have quotes from Riverbend, Foley & Prestige right now with nothing even close to that.

Progress!!! Plumbing and electric are done. They are finishing our rock wall today and then all we have left is decking and pebble.

Foley is good. My brother built with them. We are friends with the family. Give them a shout and they will try to work with you, if you are getting a quote in the area. They will do their best to make you happy.
