Hi, new here. Reading posts on here, thought maybe I can get some of your opinions.
I have been sick in my stomach since my pool was built. I believe the concrete is awful! Am I justified in my thoughts?
the concrete edge around inside of pool is “wavy” with many imperfections…8months later, black blotches remain all around pool deck.

Welcome to TFP.

Looks like an average concrete pour. Not perfect and not terrible.

If you choose poured concrete instead of precast coping then you have to accept the variability.

Looks like standard concrete. I am always upset at mine because 1 expansion joint is crooked. You have to learn to live with it. Look closely at sidewalks and driveways, they aren't perfect

We call that, and the plaster imperfections to match, 'character'. No two are the same and you'll be the only one to ever notice or care. :)

I was alot more picky on my first pools flaws than I was on the second, after 10 years of many parties and not one flaw ever mentioned. Nobody has noticed the new pools flaws so far either.
