New Pebble Sheen - Quality Concerns

They applied the Pebble sheen today. As I am not familiar with the process, I hope this can be fixed tomorrow before the next step and before it is filled. Is this something I should be upset about or am I needlessly worrying?

If it can't be seen in the photo, the concern is the bubbles and bumps on the far wall? I did not see these on the other walls but the lighting is different.

Do you have a pic of the wall pre plaster? That's not good, and its highly unlikely it can be corrected without a major headache. Dont let them tell you it wont show with water make them fix it and post follow ups

That looks exactly like mine, what was the resolution?

I didn't get a resolution. With water in it I don't really notice it. I've given up.

Wow ok cause they are here to acid wash today and I’m so discouraged, did you have any cracks??? I have cracks

The acid wash isn't going to do anything to the bumps in the surface or the cracks.

So can the cracks be fixed? Before they put the hose in it today? They are not giving me any answers and the bumps I assume can’t be fixed either? What should I do? They are acid washing now

If the cracks aren’t addressed most likely they will form calcium nodules.

Cabovegas, The bumps in the plaster are air bubbles in the plaster and this is common but can be corrected during the troweling process. The two pictures provided show a before and after of the same situation with the bubbles being worked during final troweling.
Regarding the crack, what was the temperature at time of application?

It was like 90 degrees, we are filling the pool today, when they were doing the acid wash yesterday and the pool was wet, the cracks were not visible when it was wet, the PB said that the cracks can be fixed if needed when the water is inside, also the crack were mostly in areas where there is a crease if that makes sense, like the stairs and bench inside the pool

I google Calcium Nodules, i couldn’t really find anything but I assume it is calcium buildup in the crack, anyway PB said that once the pool is filled and cured that if needed they can repair the cracks, sounds ridiculous, will the cracks cause leaks??

Probably not likely, unless you have a crack in your bonding beam. It’s most likely a hydration issue. Here is a good thread by @onBalance
