Waiting to here back on my electrician so he can do his part and then I can finish covering the pipes with the rest of the sand and finish the backfill completely. I'll likely have to dump some of backfill as well.
How is that going? Finding any good ones AND finding who to stay away from?

Since the raised spa will be covered with glass tile, it'll be the main focus point of the pool, I'm taking my time to pick someone. I'm going based on recommendations and work that I've seen.
Electrician will be here on Tuesday to run the conduit he needs and then I can cover everything with a layer of sand and then the rest of the backfill. I'm hoping to be done with all that this week and start coping and waterline tile this week. Once the coping is done then we can start on the pavers.
My goal is to be done by the end of the month. We'll see if I reach my goal!

I met with 4 tile layers (all recommendations) and I have gone forward with one of them. They're working on a job now but I hope they can start on my pool tomorrow. a crew will be coming by to finish the backfill and grade out the backyard. Finally all these mountains of dirt will be gone!

SWEET! Now make sure to hand put sand under that raised pipe. Don't trust that they will do it. You want it supported for the long term.

LOVE the BLING tile!!! You are going to love seeing it with water and sun shining on it! What color of grout will you use?

Great idea, just went out there and did it!
Coping and tile sub started bright and early this morning! I’ll post some progress pics when they leave for the day.
I do have a question regarding plaster and pavers. In what order should I do those two? My plan was to do plaster as the last step so nothing would get on it from any construction debris.

Decking followed by plaster for the very reason you stated. You do not want the guys or hoses bring in any dirt.
