TFP: I went ahead and started a new thread, since it took a while to get this project started... I have contracted out with a quality PB for the Pool-Only. I'll be doing the Deck; Cabana; and 24" Brick Wall. Here's what I've got:

1. 30K Gallon Pool w/SWG IC-60. Depth from 4 to 7'.
2. Latest Pentair Equipment w/3hp VS Pump and Single Pump for Bubblers - all mounted inside the back of the Cabana: I'll probably need some advice on this - especially the heater...
3. Large Spa: 7x11' w/400K NG Heat
4. 4x Pool Lights / 1x Spa Light / 2x Lighted Bubblers in Tanning Ledge
5. 2,000SF Deck - w/SGM Spray-On Surface
6. 24" Brick Wall surrounding Pool Pad w/Cap
7. Open/Airy Cabana adjacent to Pool
8. NG Grill and Fire Pit inside Cabana
9. 12x24x2 Travertine Coping & Wall Caps

We started digging yesterday. Because it's 200' from the back to the front, we got behind "running the dirt" to the dumptrucks and the Excavator was getting bogged down. So, decision was made to "pile up" the remaining dirt behind the pool. It'll get removed on Tuesday. The plan is to have all the steel and plumbing in by Tuesday and get inspection that afternoon. Then, Gunite on Thursday, 5/13. Here's what was done yesterday:965DDD43-24BA-4326-934A-B80886A86472.jpeg7D78F202-F846-404C-9A6D-0B3664F94754.jpegE84E339B-D849-4104-8124-F349442E3162.jpeg69D99B07-8505-4C05-A7F1-92F0D0C02ADD.jpegB797DE3A-4698-409B-82A0-D7C0D74EC34F.jpegCB1A3098-2F81-4F35-8579-2E88EF992873.jpg7E5AA0E8-614C-49C3-BBC7-9869DB072666.jpeg2DCA851A-A98D-40ED-86D5-C0AB8447C0A5.jpeg140B49D8-7263-4A6F-9582-B8256BD04243.jpeg

And, then there was rain, all nightBBF23A86-6DAC-4BC8-B86F-461FFF49BB29.jpeg

... Pump not keeping up. My guess is the water table. Was able to get a 2nd pump and was pumped down by 9am. Minimal mud slide [easy fix]. Passed inspection this afternoon and will Gunite on Thursday!

Riddle me this: Managing Form/Function; I’d like some suggestions as to how to “slightly and consistently” round these top edges & corners on this stone.

Also, anyone have suggestion on the WL Tile Grout? Hint: I don't want a white or very lite grout, so there are no options lighter than these ;) See pic:

I’m wanting to copy this design/look: I have the tile, because I called the place it was purchased. But, don't know the grout as it wasn't purchased there...

We just installed a multi blue color 1x2 glass tilt and ended up using white to make the tile pop more. Of you choices I would go with the lightest color like smoke gray. Once it gets wet it will look darker.
