I don't know about degrees, but mine is set @ 50% stroke between the two positions when not energized. For clarification 90 degrees of movement for my actuator moves between position 12 and 24 and it sits at position 18 when not energized. Moves to 24 when heating so I have 100% flow through the heater when heating.
