I'm from the Sacramento,CA area. I've been using TFP since 2010. I have a 15k pebble tec , Non-SWCG Pool (built 20 years ago).
I recently added Borates to control PH drift. Instead of adding muriatic acid every 2 days I can go around 6 days before adding (although i have to add more acid). Pool looks fantastic! I used the Boric Acid that was recommended by JasonLion sold by DudaDiesal. Pored 35 lbs it slowly into skimmer. Dissolved immediately. I appreciate all the advice from everyone in the Forums and on the site.

Acid use will remain the same, you just need to add it less often.

Yeah I saw that in a Borate forum but wasn't sure how true it was. Seems to be true so far. I'd rather add it less often though. Thanks for your reply.
