I have been reading your forums for several weeks and decided to follow your advice. I purchased a K-2006 and found that my CYA was too high so after twice draining about 50% of the pool, the CYA is now 45, other numbers FC 2 ppm depending of time of day, CC 0, PH 7.8, TA 80 ppm and calcium hardness is 200 ppm.
My 15000 gal pool was built in 2013 and has the following equipment,
I have been using liquid pool chlorine (10%) and testing daily. Typically, I use about 64 oz a day and add acid about every other day. I think that with our 100 degree temperatures and direct sun that this is reasonable.
I am very pleased with the pool water and clarity after following your program for a while.
