New member here.... Found this site by poking around looking for solutions for my garbage Pentair Globrite color changing lights. Glad I found TFP, looks like there's a lot of good information here!
As I guessed, I'm not alone in despising Pentair for their build quality of the Globrites. We bought our house in 2018, and replaced 3 of the four lights between 2019 - 2020. Last year, the fourth finally died (which I haven't yet fixed). Yesterday, one of the replacements from 2019 went bad.
Looks like I'll wait for the other 2 to inevitably die within the next year or two and then check out Florida Sunseeker and they seem to be the only alternative to the short lasting Globrites.
