Today I installed four new pool lights I also bought a new GFCI breaker. When I turn on the lights it trips the GFCI breaker .The old lights had no gfci breaker I have an easy touch controller. I tried just the spa light tripped breaker same with pool lights . With my regular 15 amp breaker no problem except no GFCI protection. Also when i switch the pool lights with the EZ touch controller they dont change color spa changes color. Any ideas on what Im doing wrong? why is it tripping the GFCI breaker . I thought the old lights where protected with a ground fault outlet but after taking it out to find the problem with the new lights nothing was ever wired through the load side of the outlet.
