Hi there! I joined TFP in order to learn how to take care of our (old but) new-to-us pool! This is our first full summer in our house (we moved in in late August 2021) and the former homeowner paid for the pool to be opened, closed, and maintained this season. So I figure I'll learn this year while I have backup people to help me out and I'll consider taking care of it myself next year! I have no idea how many gallons our pool is though- don't know the depth or the dimensions as it's a freeform pool. I am going to ask the pool people. The pump and filter system were all replaced in August 2021 with a Jandy variable speed pump and a DE filter. I have no idea what I am doing so hopefully I will be able to learn this year. Our pool was opened on Friday and is clear already. Ordered a Taylor 2006C kit and am hoping to understand all that's involved... Happy to be here!
