New home/pool. Help

Hello all! My wife and I just moved into a new home with an in ground. Happened to find this forum while searching online.

36x18. Deep end is 8 feet shallow end is 4 feet

Previous owner did an amazing job but we have never had a pool and not sure where to start. Trying to read online but it’s another language.

Today: PH was 7.7 and CL was 3.0 from what I could gather from a test kit he had.

PSI on sand tank was just over 10 PSI

I have attached a few picture of the pool and what the previous owner has.

Welcome to TFP! A few important tips:
- Don't use any of the Algae Complete or Poly Blue products. The others should be okay until you run out, then we'll help with you cheaper alternatives.
- Your test kit is missing the FAS-DPD which is very important for accurate FC testing. So if you aren't quit ready to order a new TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C test kit with only a couple months left in the season, then at least get that FAS-DPD portion.
