The only possible "glitch" I see in your plan is that with a CYA of 140 your minimum FC is just a bit over 10, and you may have to let it drop a little below that to get an accurate pH test result. Given the lower water temps during the winter letting FC drop a bit below minimum temporarily shouldn't be a problem I don't think, but hopefully an expert will chime in.
