New to pools. Already learned a lot here. Thinking about building a pool. Kind of taken aback by the prices. Quotes are tens of thousands higher than I was anticipating. Will continue to read through the forums. Thanks to everyone who has contributed!

While that might be a little worse right now, it has been that way for a very long time.
Most people have no clue how much adding a pool will end up costing.

I knew it would be expensive, but wasn’t expecting 30%+ more than what friends and family spent just a year or two ago. I understand these are turbulent economic times, but I guess my brain just wasn’t expecting $25k-$30k increase in price.
