Hi there. New pool construction in southern California. Plastered with pebble (stonescape), filled it on 3/5/20, in the midst of startup process. Looking forward to communicating with everyone as I navigate the world of pool ownership.

startup:
The PB provides a pool startup guy with each new startup, so i am largely following his suggestion during this process. Have read about pebble startup procedures and am following the brushing frequency here: https://mmgtx.com/docs/PTI-Start-Up-Maintenance-Procedures-Chlorine.pdf
test kit:
was considering purchasing one of the kits from leslie's, but will likely order the T-100.
chlorination:
will begin with chlorine and test how we like that for a couple months, and anticipate switching over to SCG.
