I looked at the work progress yesterday and was unhappy with the inconsistencies and sloppiness. The mason pretty much told me he was done and this is how it was be. Not sure how to progress so thought I'd see what the community thinks. Is this good and I'm just being picky or are my concerns legitimate? TIA

Other then some grout cracks that should be patched and some dirt that should be cleaned up what specifically bothers you?

The top of the feature doesn't have consistent grout in all the joints. The spacing is inconsistent between tiles that make it just look sloppy. Extra grout is just layered on in the corners. It's hot as he'll outside and I think they were just trying to "get it done."
