I am about to start putting together the pi, the sequent building automation hat and the 8 relay hat.
Need to purchase the two power supplies but I will need to get plenty of help. ( I have been told that I do not need these power supplies if I have the automation hat)
I have only used Windows and I will try to get the software installed on the PI. I will also post pictures on the setup I have.
My Pool is a shared body. the spa is higher than the pool and have a cascade from the spa to the pool. In the other side, the pool has a cascade as well.
I have two valve actuators for the spa. Need to correct the one of the actuators to the proper settings.
I have a filter
I have a black and decker variable speed pump. I think it is a 2HP and also have the controls so I can connect to an automation controller. The pump has four speeds..
I would like to setup a dosing system for the acid and the chlorine if possible. I would appreciate suggestions on what type I should do. I am not sure if I can set this up with the Nixie Pool . Or if I need to setup some sort of probes in the pipes to run tests on the water constantly and have the controller to handle the dose of chemicals needed in the pool.
I want to control with this PI:
The Pump (4 speeds - Black and Decker ) - I have the dashboard to connect to an automation system to control the speed and schedules for the Pump.
The spa blower
The spa actuators (2)
The heater (not available yet - saving to repair or replace)
1 Light in the Pool
1 Light in the Spa
Lights around the Pool (have meross switch)
Would like to add to the controller the following options:
A mechanism for the dosing of the chemicals (Acid and Chlorine)
A way to receive notification on the level of the content of tanks for the chemicals (So I can refill on time.)
A way to monitor the water level of the Pool body
Will greatly appreciate any guidance and help on this project If possible.
