My chlorinator is dead and cannot be fixed. Time to replace it, any suggestions?
A recommended unit my local pool man about a replacement because:

1) Only has 2 boards inside, no transformer thus lightweight.

The old one broke due to falling because it was heavy, was mounted on a particle board which was glued to the inside of the fiberglass box containing the pump and plumbing.

Any suggestions for a better chlorinator in Australia please?

Thanks.

All chlorinators use a transformer or AC to DC power supply. Almost all chlorinators use the old fashion coil type transformer that are heavy but are bullet proof. The electronic power supplies are lighter but have a lot more potential for failure, particularly when they’re living out with gecko’s and insects.

Regardless of what new chlorinator you get you need to address that mounting point first.
