They look like a 7 layer cake. You should get some matching coasters or hanging artwork made with scraps...
The rocks are really cool, almost reminds me of tiger's eye. We are finishing up our build and looking for lots of palm trees and tropical landscaping too!
Before, I decided to go the OB route, Superior was on my short list of contractors. Never got a bid, but chatted with Josh on several occasions and he was as cool as they come...down to earth type person! If I ended up going PB, I am pretty sure it would have been Superior.Superior.

I may need to steal some of the subs that Superior uses for your pool...haha! Hope all goes well for you tooHey im in lakeside too. Yeah Josh seems pretty cool so far. We narrowed him down from 3 other companies. Hope it all goes well.
I think we found our color scheme to compliment the Grand Canyon boulders. The coping is sockeye quartzite, and the stacked stone for the raised spa and bond beam is a Navajo quartz. I think it works, what do you guys think? Obviously were going for a desertscape oasis. Pretty sure we want to go with midnight blue pebble finish. The concrete pool deck is gonna be a sanded Omaha tan finish with some sockeye quartz banding. We still need to pick out waterline tile. Getting closer. They are scheduled to begin the dig on the 27th.![]()
