New build in Austin

Ok, long story short for those who haven’t read thread. PB installed and in-floor cleaning system and I didn’t realize it until after shell was poured. He is a good guy but never explained to me I was going to have an in-floor system. After seeing all the pipes and realizing I was going to have 25-30 ‘sprinkler heads’ at bottom and stairs of my sport pool I said I don’t want that. He’s agreed to change it since he knows he never explained it to me.

Attched is his plan for the returns. He will be removing pipe heads for the in floor and covering them up well with hydro concrete/cement.

Would appreciate any feedback on this new plan and anything we may want to add and/or do.

Thanks

For the most part yes I do. My question is will there be two on the tanning ledge or will those be on the wall going down from the ledge? Having one on the actual ledge (right side) will help to blow debris off the ledge which is good because dirt does accumulate. The other one on the left (narrow part) will be much less useful. So I would have that one on the wall going down. Does this make sense? This is also assuming your ledge ones will be like mine...I can attach a picture if it helps...

Thanks for the additional thinking. Currently yes. Both those are on the tanning ledge which is the first step on the stairs. I will review these thoughts with my PB tomorrow.

what you said makes sense. Thanks!

Thanks Kim! You were very helpful! And glad you like it.

My favorite part is the single 4ft 6” depth all around we decided to go with. It makes for a very functional pool for everyone. I’m also glad we didn’t go with an overflow spa as the seating around it is great when we have guests etc...and happy you like the plaster...I think that decision took the longest. It’s “Midnight Breeze” from Primera Stone and we went with the smooth finish which is another one of my favorite parts. No swimsuit snags on a rough surface! Feels like a basketball court...it’s nice on the feet too. :)

I’ll take some better pics and upload them. Thanks again!
