Bought a new Intex 12x24 pool working on getting the ground level now the question I have is the side I cut down to level the ground is about 6in, I was planning on putting up pressure treated wood 28’x16’ and filling with sand but am worried the sand will erode away over time? Also when I put pavers down do they need to be even with the top of the sand or the dirt? Also what size pavers work the best with this pool?

Welcome to TFP! About the sand around the pool, it should be okay if everything is level. Some of it may try to slip out, but you could always refill. Or just use something else around the perimeter I suppose like decorative rock or something. About the pavers - either way. Some place flat with the ground and the pool liner pretty-much lays even, or some leave the pavers on top of the ground and that extra 1/2 in or so is made-up for by using Gorilla Pads or insulation pads under the pool liner. So you have options. For the pavers, you can go with various sizes. While a 12 x 12 can work, I might go with a minimum of 16 x 16 just to have a bit more leeway should the pole bases slide in or out a bit. Checkout our AGP sub-forum for many more examples of installs.
