In the process of a potential house purchase with an inground vinyl pool in Connecticut. The owner said they never drain it. I've never had a pool before and it seems like it would freeze and have a lot of snow on it. Logistical how would that work? Thank you!

A typical pool would be destroyed if you drained it for the winter. If you take the water out, the pool will pop out of the ground like a boat. They freeze, but so does the soil around it,

You can't fully drain a Vinyl pool. It would ruin the liner.
