Hi, everyone.

I've watched the video on closing and read the wiki, and the "concept of closing an in ground swimming pool" thread.

Most of what's in that thread is Greek to me, and there are so many variables I don't know where to begin to figure it out.

So I'm not certain I should do it myself.

Can anyone advise or provide further guidance on whether I should try it or call my pool store?

Thanks so much -

Every pool is different in how the equipment and plumbing is setup to winterize it. If figuring it out with our help is too much for you then it may be best for you to have someone do it for you as you follow along and take notes and pictures. He will show you the best way to do it with your setup.

Or you can post pics of your equipment pad and pool and we can try and help you understand what you have.

Thank you.
I actually have a call scheduled this evening with the guy who for years took care of our pool before moving to another state. He was just a one guy operation who did it as a side gig, and he was *awesome*. Anyway, he and I are going to talk tonight. He should be able to set me on the straight and narrow. I'll try to post an update about the process after I'm done, as it might be helpful for others down the road.

Or I'll let everyone know I tried but failed miserably and had to resort to the local pool store.

More soon -
