Hi All, Unfortunately I am not here as an owner, but trying to research more before talking to my neighbor about his awfully noisy pump that makes a grinding noise. Maybe its likely a failed bearing, but just seeing what options are there - probably he thought he could run it to the ground, but unfortunately its also very noisy, and I can hear that "kwang, kwang, kwang, kwang" in my entire backyard since his pump faces mine (its not even the background whriling of a pump - which is already loud), but its probably oblivious to him cos its on his garage side. ...
If you're a pool owner - please be considerate to your neighbors. Pumps might still work despite it failing, but if you hear it doesn't sound right - please do something about it. Thanks.
