On a negative edge pool the negative edge positive side is mostly plaster but the tile line.

Should a waterproofing agent be used prior to plaster where plaster is going.

We have had bad efforesence on the negative side, we are removing tile and grinding it to gunite to rehydroban.

Just want confirmation with WetEdge or Pebbletec where the plaster is we dont need waterproofing.

Thanks,

My plaster is in but I get heavy efforesence on the negative side of the wall. The whole wall looked like glass over tile 2nd month into construction and every 6 months I have to clean it. We are redoing the whole negative side, however I cant dig out my plaster now. Is there anything that can be done since plaster is in? Plaster is in with no hydroban/waterproofer on positive side. Was hoping to nail this when we are grinding down the negative side.
