My 18 year old above ground pool liner tore. My husband and I would like to replace it ourselves. I have my original receipt. On the receipt it says my pool is 27 x 52 . Before I went and ordered the liner, I decided to double check. I am glad I did. I am measuring 47 inches from underneath the top rail to the ground. I never bothered to measure before. The receipt says that my liner is a J hook. I don’t know what to do. Should I order a 47 inch liner? A 52 inch liner like the receipt says? I asked two different pool stores and they said just to forget about it and convert it into an overlap. This is definitely a project we would do ourselves since I got a quote from a nearby pool store of $6000 to replace the liner. I just want to make sure I am buying the right one.
