Need help with pvc hose replacement

Hey all! I currently have this hose

It’s dry rotted after 3 years in the sun so I’m thinking about going the pvc route since it should last a good bit longer. Can I get all the parts (including the female end parts) at a store like Lowes/Home Depot or is this pool store/online only?

Yes, you just have to piece and glue together the parts. Have you worked with PVC before?

I know that some pentair fittings are proprietary (don’t mate well with standard plumbing fittings) so you may need to use that part.
If u buy standard fittings & they don’t fit you can just return them.

You should be able to use 1.5" male adapters into both the pump and filter, especially if you use unions. Something like this would be better:
