Need Help with Pool Vacuum Cleaner

Hello all, Pool n00b here.
I just bought a home with a pool and purchased a Vingli pool cleaner for it. The cleaner works well, however my pool only has enough suction if I shut of suction from the drain and skimmer. I'd prefer to be able keep both the skimmer and drain as well as the vacuum on all the time.

Do I need to upgrade my pump motor? I do also suspect that there is an air leak somewhere as there are small bubbles which are coming out of the return pipes.

What kind of pool? What kind/size filter? Which pump?
