Need help with my test results

Hey everyone, after multiple bad pool management companies I decided to take over management of my pool. I'm a bit confused though on my metrics. I originally had them really good, and then I was recommended to shock pool about 2 weeks ago and now the clorine metrics are through the roof.

Jandy tru salt gen
PH 7.8
FC 11.5
CC 2-3
Stablizer - not sure, I tried the tfp test with the dot, but it fills up to 30 and I can't go anymore which I'm assuming means over 30ppm. It's barely visible at 30 but I can still see black dot a little
When I do the clorine matrix test, it shows as dark orange and off the scale.

A regular pool strip test shows FC and TC as very high

Is it safe to swim in with chlorine this high and how do Iower it

Also jandy is set to 90% as that's where the pool company had it. When I took over the ph was threw the roof with 1550 salt and almost no chlorine at all. It's amazing how bad some companies are. I've removed all the green algae and the pool looks great now

That means your CYA is 30. It would likely be obscured at 20 (if there was a 20 line), so we always round to the next 10.

With CYA of 30, it is safe to swim up to and including 12FC. FC will come down with sunlight and swimmers.

Is this accurate? What was the EXACT brand and name of the shock you added?

It could be because of the product you used. Post the product and we'll evaluate.

If it was not the product, then follow the SLAM process to clear the CC and the pool. Link-->SLAM Process

The kit was the one that came with the tfp large kit. I'm not actually sure if it was 2-3, after the reagent turned clear for the FC test and I marked FC drops x .05, then added the other reagent, I could only see a tiny amount of pink after 3 drops barely visible so I might reread and repeat that test. I am sure the FC is correct. It's very likely that the cc was 0 and I just over estimated to be safe, I did not see a full reagent color change after 3 drops it was barely visible pink and it may have just been left over from my fc test

My main concern was the general total chlorine being high but that seems to be ok if cya is present from what I've read.

So no action should be taken I'm guessing besides topping up salt and continuing to manage the ph levels. Additionally the it ok to have the salt water gen on 90% cloronating. The documentation for my unit is very confusing.

Also the shock was the salt water pool shock from clorox - Non Chlorine Shock | Salt Pool Shock-Oxidizer | Clorox® Pool&Spa™
