Need help w pool light removal… ugh!

The #8 goes to the terminal marked with the arrow.

The light ground and supply ground go to the green ground screws.

The base plate is brass/bronze, so it connects all grounds together through the metal plate.

It looks like you have a green ground from the supply.

If no ground, you need to have one for 120 volt lights.

Or, switch to 12 volt lights.

If you fill the conduit with wire pulling lube and then push and pull the wire to get it to move a tiny bit, it will probably break free.

Once I got the ground and remaining light wire out, I couldn't get the ground to come back out into the JB. So I will replace with jacked wire and replace the JB as recommended.
