I test everything later. I'm going to try and get this PH down some more. I'm ready for it. I went and purchased 10 gallons.....This pool will bend a knee...

Do yourself a favor and don’t waste time with the yellow chlorine test. Just use the powder and drops. The yellow test isn’t very accurate for comparing differing levels for an OCLT. It’s just kind of a “is there chlorine or not” test.

FINALLY.....I know I still have a long way to go but to finally have a full test pass with flying colors is a great feeling. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE that landed advice, feedback, and encouragement. Special shout out to @jesse-99 . Without Jesse I would have taken a sledge hammer to this pool and called in someone to dump and go. This forum rocks and I appreciate EVERYONE.

Huzzah! Awesome to hear some positive results with your pH and other stuff. I've felt like I was in your shoes before in the past too. A sledge hammer and a dump truck, I had those thoughts many times (sometimes I still have them, heh, like yesteday when my heater's Igniter just randomly died). Now that you got the hang of it, you'll fair much better (and quicker) next time around! So glad to hear! (y)
