So here is my sub panel outside by my pool. My finger is on a 20 amp outlet that my pool pump gets plugged into. The pool pump turns on when I hit the manual switch on the timer. (Which is how I like doing it) I’m just wondering where I can hook up the salt generator. My pool pump pulls 16 amps max and there’s a 20 amp breaker going to the timer. So I’d figure I can’t put the salt generator on the timer to because it’d pull to much? I also can’t find out how many amps the salt generator is. The 60 amp breaker there is for my pool heater which I don’t use anymore.
Can I hook the 60 amp breaker up to my timer and then also connect the salt generator under the timer where the pool pump is connected under line 2 and 4?
What do you guys recommend here
THANKS!
