I read that CYA never goes away. I want to be between 30-50 like the chart says. Only way to do that is to replace water.
Taking this as a lesson learned. If I'd used poolmath first I'd have known it was to much regardless of what the pool store was recommending. I also would have known to question them telling me to add more two days in a row when it takes a week to fully register.
