Hi all, looking for suggestions on how to move the filter so it's on the ground and not 20" up on cinderblocks.

I was curious if I come out of the pump:
can I do 90s -red altered photo
some type of flex hose - red with blue photo.

or something that I haven't thought of? BTW these are 2" pipes, wonder if I should use a reducer to 1 1/2, howerever the return jet is really pumping out.

TIA !!!!!

Do the 90s shown in red with rigid PVC. If you're out there with pipe and glue already, I'd take the time and get rid of the two bendy hoses also. It may take some Macguyvering to the pool fittings, but it'd be worth it.

Thanks everyone for the replies, the 45s looks like a great option. Thx !!!!
At some point I was going to pvc the rest of the crappy 1.5 hoses. One already cracked and have waterweld on it. Works though :)

Definitely cant bury the pump lower, rains every 20 mins in Florida.

Apprecate all the replies.

If you are going to take the plumbing apart you might consider getting a pre-cast plastic or foam-filled concrete base for both filter and the pump.
something like this:
