Have an INTEX 12 x 24 XTR Pool and I bought a Saltwater System and a Hayward Skimmer as add-ons. The instructions with the Hayward Skimmer are horrible and I’m unclear as to where to hook it up to the system. I’ve been running the system to clean the pool without the skimmer hooked up thus far and I’m not sure what hose that’s currently in the system should no longer be used? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The port on the bottom of the skimmer goes to the suction of the pump.

You'll want to mount the skimmer box as high as your vinyl wall permits.
Inbetween the 2 current intakes would be good. The top of the skimmer box opening will prob be along the gray line just under the railing.
