My swg pool is supposed to be kept at 6ppm FC. But the Nautilus CC Plus that I just bought says that the max FC is 4 ppm. Are there any other pool cleaners that can handle more than 4 ppm? Does this seem unreasonable to anyone else besides me?
If you look at that manual (and I just did) you'll see that suggested water chem levels and they failed to mention a CYA Stabilizer level. So without CYA in the water 4ppm would be VERY HARSH. But we USE CYA, right?? That buffers the chlorine. So you have nothing to worry about. I swear.
Meh, the manual is a "COVER OUR BUTTS" manual. Like not using an extension cord to plug the power into. Seriously, who has electrical outlets that close to their pool?? I'm sure their lawyers told them to say no extension cords so they didn't get sued. I am sure the 4 FC thing is similar, so they can claim you had your FC too high if the things fails in 2 years.
