i have a vinyl pool and had an Aquabot for years that had all “foam” (not sure the proper name) brushes. That unit was awesome and lasted me for 12 seasons. Last season I bout this CC plus and have been less than satisfied. It doesn’t clean nearly as well nor does it stay firmly on the bottom. I wondered if I changed out the brushes from the ones it comes with to the foam type if it would do better on vinyl ?

The amount of water the CC Plus discharges through the top should be way more than enough to keep it firmly in the bottom. Have you looked at the impeller through the top cover to see if there is any debris or stringy material wrapped around it causing it to not perform up to par? If there is any thing wrapped around the shaft you can pop the cover off the impeller very easily and get it cleaned up.
