Mystery of the white powder in pool

Did you ever find out what it is I have the same problem with a couple of my pools it started this year and it’s only in salt pools no tab pools only salt pools

May be calcium carbonate flakes coming out of solution in the SWCG. You might be able to fix it by managing your CSI. What is the chemistry of those pools?

I ran into the same issue. Solved with adding 4 cups muriatic acid.
