Hello,

We had some construction done in our pool area last week. Knowing I wouldn’t be able to check on the pool, I set the SWG to Superchlorinate for a few (3) days. The FC climbed to over 10 so I turned off the SWG to let the level drop. It’s been falling gradually.
However, this morning my FC was 7. This evening my FC was 8-1/2. I checked it twice. Is it possible to be generating even though I switched it off???!

Two days ago my test results were:
June 7, 2018 8am
FC 7.5
PH 7.3
TA 80
CH 375-400
CYA 70 (overcast)
Borates 50 (not measured)
Salt 3100
Temp 73

Yesterday they were:
June 8, 2018 8am
FC 7.0
PH 7.3
TA 80
CH 375-400
CYA 70 (overcast)
Borates 50 (not measured)
Salt 3100
Temp 75

Huh. Is it possible that you had an error in testing previously?

You don’t have any pucks in the pool, right?

Are you sure a timer isn’t turning SWG back on?

Nope. Circulation issue or testing error.

I assume your SWCG is set to only run when your pump runs. So are you sure you turned it off or set % to 0. The SWCG most likely would have been powered on when the pump is running.

No pucks ever. TFP only and always.

There is a switch on the control box for Super Chlorinate; Auto or Off. It is switched to Off. The generating indicator lights were not on today.

I usually test in the AM before the pump runs. Maybe the level is different in the evening because the water has been circulating?

"I usually test in the AM before the pump runs."

Testing error due to poor circulation. Pump should be running for at least 30 minutes prior to pulling a water sample for testing.
