I have been trying to get my pool up and running for three weeks We had a bad winter, high winds and the pool cover ripped, dumping leaves and possibly dead bodies in my pool It started out very dark green/brown. I was SLAMming and raking nonstop and there was not any free chlorine. I have two cartridge filters that I have been switching out. I have skimmer socks in the skimmer. I finally Tuesday drained it down to 2 ft (above ground pool). There is still a brown shadow but the leaf rake brings up very few leaves. It seems to be a brown muck. I have used my robot (Dolphin S50) and a leaf vacuum but the muck isn't moving very much. The water is lighter. Should I start filling her up and let the system get the rest. I am exhausted, and yes I am the only one working on it. Friends and family ask constantly if its ready to swim, but no one will come and help. Please give me some advice. I'm at my wits end.

Yes, you should fill up the pool and get the equipment working. The brown may be muck or some organic staining on the bottom. An AGP shouldn't be left empty for long since the walls rely on the water pressure to be stable.
Continue the SLAM process. Have you been able to get any FC reading at all after adding chlorine? How often after you add chlorine are you testing again? I assume you are using liquid chlorine (bleach) right?
Please post a full set of test results. Most important are FC, CC and CYA.
