It does a great job when it is moving, seems to spend a lot of time in the corners.

That type of cleaner tends to get caught in corners, but there's a couple things you can try. One is to redirect the waterflow by changing the aim of the return jets. It's purely trial and error to find out if there's a way that works. Another is to try changing the location of the float attached the hose a little way up from the cleaner, or try adding an extra float. Also worth trying is to take a section of the hose out and see what happens. Good luck with it
