My in-line chlorinator just blew up..

Not sure why they come that way, but you might need all the priming a pump could muster for certain installations. Like if the pump was at a much higher or lower level than the pool’s surface...

Mine either came that way or the PB set it that way. It turns on, runs full bore for About 20 seconds and then lowers rpms by 250rpms until it gets to whatever speed it was set to run.

As an update to close out the thread, I had someone come and fix it up about two days later. $105 total. Most of it was the service charge. Chopped it out and just put a straight pipe in there.

OK, good, he was able to glue to the outside of that three-way valve port. Looks great. And now you'll have a straight run to add that SWG right there if you decide to go that way. Hundred bucks is certainly a reasonable fee for that...

Cool, glad it worked out for you.

Were you able to get the priming speed down to a lower rpm?

Yup, I have reduced it down to 2800, my Polaris is a return side model and really doesnt like to do much when it goes too low. So it warms up and goes at 2800 for an hour and a half then drops down to 1200 for 3 hours.
