my hayward VS 950 local screen is not on

Hello everyone
Recently i did upgrade my single speed pump to a various speed pump Hayward VS 950. since the day one the local screen on the pump is not working at all. i have an automation system Omnilogic. when i contact the dealer he told me that this is normal and that when did set up as to be controlled with the app or the automation screen not the pump itself, and there is no way around that
- my question is if this true, or they have to come back and figure it out?

The pump is working fine.

Put your system in "service" mode and see if the screen re-appears.

Yes no way around it. Why do you want the screen on your pump when you can control it from the app or the controller to your Omni? When it’s installed with automation the connector for the screen on the pump is disconnected and a new connector for automation is installed.
