My first SLAM....and still SLAM-ing

@chiefwej .... My this morning test results:
FC-9
CC-0
PH-7.5
TA-80
CH-525
CYA-70
Salt-3300
CSI is -0.08 (balanced)
So I can see now after paying attention to CSI section on the poolmath that 525 will be just fine and give me a "balanced" on CSI.
I just do not have a source of water that will lower my CH. I already replaced 30% and my CH did not drop much due to my replacing source has high CH.
I guess I can live with high CH as long as CSI shows balanced.
Now I need to get rid of calcium scale... :( ... is it acid wash with no draining a good option or is there something better?

It depends on how much scale and how patient you are. I had a modest amount of scale and it went away over time by me just keeping a CSI around -0.15 to -0.2. But it takes a long time. My neighbor had a lot of scale and had the pool drained and acid washed. Acid wash will quickly rid you of scale, but it will also shorten the life of your plaster.
