Have you ever taken a new CYA test now that what you've added has had plenty of time to dissolve and disperse? You may need to maintain higher FC. It could be that letting it drop to 3.5 is too low.

Also, if you have high CH, like I do, it looks better with lower pH.

Thank you Richard for your quick answer. My today's tests:

FC - dropped again to 3.5 at the end of the day
pH 7.8
CH 130ppm
CYA 40 still same as I had 3 weeks ago

so in this case, does my CH high as yours ? For the FC I target 6 every time I add in the night and it drops to apx 3.5 the next night. Should I raise the bar ?

For the pH I bought this product http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/hth-ph-down/6000016943062 should I start using it to drop pH level ?
