I posted about mustard algae a few weeks ago... thought I got rid of it , But whatever it is it's back !

Because it's the end of pool season here in Montreal, I kind of like the pool go for the past week and a half ( we were also away on vacation for a week ).

Right now it's a greenish yellow , The patches on the bottom are definitely yellow . The water has to be in the 60s Temperature wise ... what are the odds that it's actually mustard algae ??

Also should I clear of the pool before I close it for the season?

Would posting a picture help determine whether it's mustard algae or not ?

Pool School - Mustard Algae

I do not live in cold country so do not close - but it would seem to me to be better to fight the algae at low water temperatures now rather than have to manage this in the spring. But others may have ideas --

Take care.
