Mustard Algae Treatment...when is it done?

Hey everyone, just bought a house with a pool 6 months ago and using TFP has been tremendous. Since we first bought the house, we've noticed that when we brushed the walls/steps of the pool, we'd get a lot of "dirt" like substance. Even just a day later. We always thought it was just dirt and didn't think much of it since the pool itself was still clear otherwise. Last week, we saw a post on TFP mentioning mustard algae and finally thought that's what we had. Did some tests and verified that's what it was (by this point it had gotten a bit worse), so started the SLAM process + the Mustard Algae FC level as mentioned here Mustard Algae. It's been 4 days now and the "dirt" on the walls has reduced A LOT, everyday since we started, and when we brush we get barely anything now, probably 5-10% of what we used to. I did a OLCT 2 nights ago and we had no chlorine loss, so upped the FC to mustard FC shock level, been 24 hours now. My question is, we should theoretically be done, but when we brush against the walls/steps, we still see a bit of the "dirt", just tiny amounts. Does anyone know if that means we're not done and we should continue shocking? Besides that pool is sparkling clear and looks great.

CYA: 30
FC: 23
pH before SLAM: 7.3

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.
I would suggest you follow the 24 hours at mustard algae levels and then follow the mustard algae target levels for the next several weeks. See if the 'dust' goes away.

No.

Read Mustard Algae

"Yel/Mstrd Min" is 15% of the CYA level
