What’s going on with the shortage of this product? I haven’t been able to get it for the past couple of months from Leslie’s and just used the last bit I had…I’ve heard that Lowe’s and HD sell it, but the content is different. What should I be looking for when searching for this product online and retailers?

Big box stores sell 14.5% MA. You’ll just have to double your dosage from Leslies 29%. Use Pool Math for dosage amounts.

I always buy mine at HD or Lowe’s. HD has two different strengths so just watch what you’re buying.

+1. And both those places and the Hardware stores have it year round in the paint aisle. It specifically was never tested for pools by the manufacturers, so it may say ‘not for pools’ or ‘concrete use only’, but MA is MA and it’s all the same.
