Hello!
Long time lurker, first time poster. Entering my 6th season as a pool owner. This is the first time I'm opening it myself. Got everything set up, fired up the filter and this water is spraying from my multi valve selector... Any idea if this can be fixed or if I need to replace it? Of course the wife wanted me to hire somebody, and she thinks she's proving her point now 🤣 I'll attach a pic.

It would have sprayed water on the person you hired. Then they would have charged a bunch of money to repair it.

I would remove the screws and remove the gasket. Inspect it's condition and check for any dirt or sand on the gasket or in the gasket channel. Relube the gasket with pool lube and reinstall the MPV. If you still get water spraying, you may need a new spider gasket. This assumes the previous person didn't install it with an adhesive.

Much appreciated, thank you!

Welcome to TFP.

Lube and replace the O-ring…
